This is an intermediate level grammar course designed specifically to increase your English language writing competency. The course will primarily focus on the content in Nitty Gritty Grammar: Sentence Essentials for Writers but will also include other topics in the Fes-Saiss curriculum. We will not finish the entire textbook, and students will be responsible for some information taught outside the book. Grammar topics include, but are not limited to: subject-verb agreement, passive voice, noun clauses, adjective clauses, gerunds, infinitives and modals.
*Please note: Exercise answers are not in the textbook. If you would like to confirm your answers to an exercises that we did not do in class, ask a fellow classmate or come see me during office hours.
